Career Journey
Alicia graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Houston Baptist University in 2012. For over six years, she worked as a Registered Nurse in medical-surgical care before earning her Master of Science in Nursing Cum Laude from Texas Woman's University as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She then worked in the primary care setting for two years, where she cared for many patients with kidney disease — an experience that ultimately led her to pursue a career in nephrology. She is excited to be part of the HKSC family and ready to serve the community.
